According to The Mirror, the 28-year-old was caught driving at 44mph in a 30mph zone in Wythall, Worcestershire, in July 2023. While he did not appear at Worcester Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, his barrister entered a guilty plea. The City winger was fined £666 ($832) and handed five penalty points on his licence. Grealish was also told to pay £110 ($137) in prosecution costs and a £266 ($332) victim surcharge, bringing the total to £1,042 ($1,300). Grealish's lawyer, John Dye, apologised on his client's behalf and said the speeding was a "mistake".

This is not the first time Grealish has been in trouble for a driving offence. The former Aston Villa star was banned from driving for nine months in 2020 and given an £82,499 ($103,000) fine for two counts of careless driving.
WHAT GREALISH'S LAWYER SAID
Dye said of Grealish at the magistrates' court: "Mr Grealish means no discourtesy by not attending. I am instructed to enter a guilty plea on his behalf in relation to speeding.
"He can afford to pay that figure. I am asked to apologise on his behalf. It was a mistake.”
