Wrexham reach out to fan on birthdayBut supporter left bemused by messageTechnical difficulties lead to "insert subject line" titleWHAT HAPPENED?
Co-owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have been praised for their personal touch since taking over the Welsh club, but recent technical difficulties showed that even the best can make mistakes. Red Dragons fan and host of the , Nathan Salt, revealed what was supposed to be a personalised birthday message sent to his email. While Salt received the correct message within the email, the subject line simply read "Insert subject line", making the occasion seem not quite so special.

Salt's post appears to be made lightheartedly, with recognition towards the club and their Hollywood owners that a technical issue was at fault. Indeed, both Reynolds and McElhenney have been lauded for their work in different parts of the Wrexham community since taking over in February 2021. Reynolds has made numerous financial contributions, either to former players during times of need or local stores in trouble. Their overall investment in the club has also led to Wrexham becoming one of the most sought-after property locations in the UK.

Thus far, those investments have done their talking on the pitch, too. Wrexham secured promotion to League Two last season and are in with a real shot of reaching League One after the current campaign. Following a blimp from late January to mid February, that push seems to be back on track. Phil Parkinson's side will look to build on their 4-0 thrashing of Accrington Stanley last weekend when they face Morecambe on Saturday.
